How to remove back seat?

Anyone knows how to remove the back seat preferably with pictures or video? I think my daughter spilled something in there and it stinks like a vomit

I have a 09 Lancer GTS. Thanks much.

just pull up with a lot of force. it DOES just pull up, so if it doesnt move, keep trying. grab the front of the seat halfway between each half of the seat. like the middle of where a person would sit is where its clipped in.

Thanks. I'll try that . Is it hard to put back since I'm pulling it up with a lot of force?

yea those were a ***** for me..after u remove the bolt at the bottom u gotta kida slide the piece up cuz at the middle in the back of the piece its like a metal clip type thing thats holds it to the body thats jus like a metal ring where the clip from the piece latches onto...jus slide upwards, use force if u need to...

and when you put the side pieces back ^^ make sure they go back onto those hooks. they are actually near the top of the piece, not the middle. and its helpful to push real hard on it when trying to get it back on he hook.

maybe unlikely with a brand new car, but check where the spare tire is. maybe some water leaked in there or something and is getting smelly/moldy.

^ yea man gettin those side pieces back on was a biiitch. i was gettin so mad lol...for ur smell i remeber someone mentioning u can go to home depot and get thing like jar of stuff..odor remover.. jus let it sit in ur car for a while or sumtin, it absorbed all the smells, works really well..but afterwards u might wanna spray ur inerior wit some febreze for cars..cuz it leaves like a plastic smell behind..but u shouldnt have ne odors afterwards..the jar is like 20 bucks

Do you have to take off the corner peices to take out that plastic panel under the rear window?

umm i dont remeber..i know theyre not connected at all but im sure ull have an easier time if those are off...that panel (especially gettin it back on) and the side pieces that cover the rear side airbags were a bizzle.
