LED headlights and fogs?

I found these on ebay and thought they might be interesting. What do you all think? I have my doubts about their brightness, but the longevity and color would be nice I think.

I would be careful with something like that. LEDs output a lot more heat than you would think...without any type of vane system or cooling you could potentially melt something. If someone tries them out they should post some info on here on how well they work.

^ LED give off less heat then conventional bulbs. That and power usage needed to produce light make LEDs a great product. HID's are different and i can see them causing problems.

The only problem is light output, You cant use these for driving. They dont light up enough of the road for you to see. LEDs are great for shows when you want pure coloured light.

I don't know what type of LEDs you are using, but if u use high power LEDs to create the same light output as your normal lights, they produce a lot of heat. Even the LED flahslights i have get pretty hot...and they are no where near the intensity of the headlights.

I've had LED Fogs for about 8 months now

They look awesome and they match my HID's much better than the Halogens do.

Haven't had a problem with heat, or anything else

Kinda late but LEDs pretty much die at 150C which is a lot less than the temp of regular bulbs.. And it is possible to get single LEDs that are as bright/brighter than headlights but you will need some serious heat sinking for them..
