Paint a vortex genrator

Hey my Girl just bought me a vortex generator. Its like a black matte color how would I paint it to make it look like a nice shiny black color before I install it on my car?

I saw a white evo 9 with the same thing and I wanted that shiny look.

Would like to paint tomorrow!!!

hmm i think you need to repaint the whole thing. get some gloss black paint, paint it. sand to remove some high spots.
after that spray a very thin layer of clear coat. lots of very thin layers is better than one heavy layer.
then sand it down with 1k grit, 1.5k grit, then 2k grit. buff it with a rubbing compound to remove the scratches. =)

full guide here and here for the clear.

hopefully i helped you man.
