Lancer VRX Spoiler material

Hi. I'm interested in fitting a VRX spoiler to my Lancer ES. I was told that I could get a replica of the spoiler in fiber glass, which is supposedly better because fiber glass is stronger. However after doing some searching on the web, I've read that plastic is arguably better, because it is lighter and doesn't chip/crack as easily. Additionally, being a spoiler, it's not really going to bump into anything if ever.

Bottom line question: should I just buy an original Mitsubishi VRX Spoiler?

i've never been a fan of fiber glass.

but for something so light and small like a lip spoiler, I would just go the cheaper route.
