Wiper Blade vaccuum?
Wiper Blade vaccuum?
I've been having this issue with my vehicle. As I'm driving more in the rain nowadays, I'm noticing something interesting. When it wipes away the rain, everything is fine. But when it is on its way back to the park position, it seems to be creating a vacuum or suction and attracting the rain it just swept away from the windshield BACK ONTO the area where it was just swept away.
I'm currently using the Bosch Icons and I thought that this may have been happening due to the aerodynamic design of the blade. So I purchased the Bosch Micro Edge blade, which is of the spider-blade conventional style. However, the same thing happened. Oddly enough, I did happen to notice that the conventional blade sat much higher than the aero-style. Also, the wiper efficiency wasn't very good, which expedited me to replace the blade with the Bosch Icons that I had bought a month prior back onto it.
I'm thinking that adjusting the arm to where the park position of the blade is higher, therefore enabling the blade to push the water higher onto the windshield, therefore reducing the amount of water that is kicked/sucked back onto the windshield??
Who else has been experiencing this?
