Duplicate keys
Duplicate keys
Does anyone know how to pair a new key to my car? I have a 2009 ES lancer and the dealer wants $180 for a duplicate key, or $75 for just the transponder key. I can find the keys fairly cheap online, like $20 for the transponder, but how do I sync them to my car? I found some guides for 2005 and older modles, but I cant find anything for newer models.
Thanks

According to a former mitsu technician, you need the mitsu dealer computer to program the new keys. You can find cheaper keys on ebay, but you have to make sure the id written inside of the remote matches yours. but look at the other thread.. it's more detailed
go look at the other thread called "broken key" we explained all the key issues.
