To switch out the instrument cluster from say the GTS and I guess up to the ES? I have the all red one that I'm not a huge fan of and would love to add some color

I have a 2011 ES and when I spoke to the actual dealer they said that they had no idea. (I guess no one has ever asked?) I left with them saying that they have the part and are willing to experiment, but with labor of course. I figured I would keep researching on my own.

 

Figures. All I really need to know is if the information is stored in the actual cluster or not. I doubt it is and then should be just PNP

 

i believe there is something different about them, also the mileage is stored on the odometer, so you would have to have the dealer program that otherwise you might be looking at fraud when it comes to inspection/registration time.

 

Is there anyone at a dealership that might have inside info? I wouldn't mind using the dealership for the install by any means if the part would fit. I think the big question is, if it is possible at all. After spending some time with the red display, then driving my friends Ralliart, I now know what I am missing. It would be nice to at least have the full color digital cluster.
