Been looking at this for my 03 lancer oz rally. Wondering if it's any good? I don't really want to get too pricey. If not is there anything else you might suggest?

is your primary goal to get a nice sound? If so, you can get a cherrybomb muffler (they have several models) or a flowmaster and you will get a deep sounds without having to get a full cat back exhaust. They are also cheaper than this one.

 

Flow master is hella loud. Everyone recommends magnaflow. I had a flowmaster and it was way too loud!!! It was a nice deep sound but it was really loud. I could hear it 3 blocks away.

 

I have a Eagle muffler, its the same thing as the Magnaflow. Mine is loud, my friends hear it in there house two to three blocks away. I also have my 02' OZ Dual Exhaust. I like my muffler cause it sounds more like a muscle rather than crappy Civic sound.

 

you may wanna go the route of getting something custom made. i've always done that and it ends up being exactly how i want. much cheaper, too.

 

If youre wanting just a axle back muffler I would go with magnaflow universal oval shape and if you have no intention on a full system keep your ID and OD the same size as your stock pipes, otherwise you get the "fart can" effect which simple acoustics explain why it sounds like every other 4cycl. that is NA. Flowmaster is INSANELY loud. +1 to whoever recommended a cherry bomb. Have seen good results with those as well.
