Long story short, wife hits a deer. I'm replacing headlights and body panels. I pulled the stock lights out and went to replace them with some spyder lights from ebay (mistake number 1). THe headlight bulp plug hole is different. How the hell does this work?

The new lights have a rubber gasket type set up

 

Did u try to just stick it in? pun intended

 

I would start by pulling that rubber seal off the bulb socket
