03 ES radiator fan controller
03 ES radiator fan controller
Well they have gone up in price from 50 to 200 bucks to replace. Ill set fire to the car before I spend 200 bucks on a part that was last year 50 from my local dealer.
Anyone know how to fix this as opposed to replacing it at butt rape prices?
thanks

there has to be somewhere to get that switch cheaper.....
couldn't you just find a thermo switch and put it into the radiator hose? get it to trigger at a certain temp, and off at a different temp?
and, I will buy a manual tranny from you for $200, instead of setting fire to it

Yeah, just joking about the fire part. Just frustrated to find it so expensive. I found it for $90 at Advance Auto.
I'm still going to dissect this unit and see what is evolved in rebuilding one. Mainly because my other Lancer has a bad one as well.
Its hot enough here in Floriduh to cause the engine to overheat in traffic so we are without working car for the next week. Thank god my wifes job will let her work from home this week. its saves much cab fare.
