The power side mirror adjustment on my 09 Lancer GTS stopped working. I checked the fuse and the connections behind the tweeters and everything looks good. I want to try replacing the switch to see if that resolves the problem, but I am not sure how to remove the switch. I do not want to brake anything. Does anyone know how to remove the power side mirror switch? This is the switch that allows you to adjust the mirror angle. If someone can post details it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

Or - measure for 12VDC directly to mirror motor connector.


Can you switch left/right connectors on the switch? (see if the problem moves)
Or switch the left and right mirrors (just connect and hold to see if it now moves)


Then you know to replace either the switch or the mirror.

 

Oh, sorry - this assumed removing the switch - your original question....


So just try swapping the mirrors (very easy) first.
