So My lancer has 2 good size tears in the driver front bucket seat. It just happens with wear and tear. I thought maybe going to upholstery shop to have them sew it, but the tear are good size now. If I got cloth from a parts lancer from the passenger front seat, would that be compatible with the drivers side?
I also toyed with the idea of doing with leather seats covers. I'm wondering if aftermarket covers would effect the side airbags?

 

So I talked to my local dealer in Sacramento. They gave me both parts number for the seat cloth. They differ by 4 different characters/digits. Though I think it's quite possible the back rest of the seats look the same to me. I'm going to look for a parts lancer and most likely get the cloth from passenger front seat (less wear and tear to this side in general).
