Hello everyone this is my first car.. i couldnt pass it up its always been one of my favorites and at 27 it was way past due.. ive often dreamed of having a Japanese tuner to learn and teach myself and be able to create somthing special and original and above all somthing that puts a giant smile on my face all my life ive never known what i wanted to do and now i do and im motivated and committed i just need some help and knowledge and i figured this was prolly one of the best places to ask.. I kno a bit about cars as in the basics baw to change a tire/oil/brakes/ and simple things like that the car as far as I kno was well taken care of and has never been crashed or anything the paint is a bit rough and it has 200k miles on it the only thing that isn't stock is the headers and I'm not sure what kind it has.. how can I get to know my machine and be able to see what I'm working with and where I need to go from here

 

Good find auto or manual
Depends on what YOU want from the carCheck all your fluids change them since the cars new too you, make sure everything is good mechanical wise, timing belt, trans whatever else and go from there GL
Wanna go for looks, couple of good threads on here with information about wheel n Tire setups, coilover setups, lowering spring setups, and misc modifications.

Want power get an evo or maybe a ralliart, or do a swap you'll find some threads about swaps and ecu swaps if you don't know much about tuning just stick with the basics.

You can put a short ram intake and aftermarket exhaust for sound but always do your research before asking questions on here
