your sub is going to fork your harddrive up... you cant have them that close and when your sub hits it will make you hard drive scratch. I dont like the back end you see too much stuff

Although I don't care too much about the looks, I actually cleaned it up quite a bit with wire management last night because I had the wire sleeves. I set it up for function rather than show, and here I am "showing" it!

As for the sub/hard drive--I have way too many leaks and too little power for it to be a problem. I basically made a ring of foam that seals the sub into the spare tire. It sounds good enough for now, so I have no worries.

I will admit that I rolled over a speedbump @ 15mph because I was looking at the kids in the back and that slapped the hard drive enough to kill it. I had it temporarily sitting on the wood. It's now mounted.

Other than there being no such animal as an AMD Pentium processor, that's pretty cool. Is there a write-up on this somewhere?

That's like saying you drive a Ford Chevrolet or Mitsubishi Honda "equivalent". AMD and Pentium (Intel) are major competitors, dude...

Sweet setup though!

I guess it's like saying I drive a "car"! I was just "generalizing" the processors. You dont need to convince me! I've been in IT for about 20 years and have an electronics background, so I'm cool with the procs. I was assuming that this is more of a "car" forum with cool components/mods rather than a computer processor type forum! If you want to talk latch registers, CMOS vs TTL logic w/related impedance, stray capacitance, etc. We could do that off line. I really do enjoy it. Otherwise.. it's a processor man! AMD or INTEL will give me the same result for the low end app I'm running.

On the flip, thanks for the compliment. I'm almost ready to rip it out tho as it's easier to simply turn on a radio and rock out! The one thing I do want to keep it for is computer tuning w/touch screen. I just need some $$$ for the MIVEC mods.
