Stock Ralliart Alarm Question

I believe I have the stock Ralliart alarm and I was wondering if there is a way to program it so that when I hit unlock / lock, the lights just blink and you don't hear the beep beep of the cars horn. I was messing around with it to see if I could figure it out myself like some other car alarms but I failed.

I don't have a book for it and the dealership sucks.

Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Oh, then I guess it isn't stock. Mine went off the other day my gf opened the door through the window before I could unlock it with the keys. I always had my cars alarms on silent when locking/unlocking is all so I was wondering if there was a way for this one too. I'll bug the dealership for some info then. Thanks!

EDIT: do you mean we as in stock RA owners don't have alarms, just power locks? or is that just in your particular case? I think I misunderstood. Does the RA come with a stock alarm would be the initial question.

Any alarm that might be on your car would be aftermarket. There is no stock alarm available for the Ralliart, or any Lancer.

if you want to turn the *beep-beep* off

1.put the key in
2.turn it to the on position
3.turn it back to off
4.press the red LED thats to the left of the steering wheel

now lock the car....it wont make the beep.

wow
dei valet mode.....

no more alarm too

if there is an aftermarket alarm, which there is as you described, you should go to an aftermarket shop and should take them ten minutes to unhook the horn output

but then there's no alarm for when it is needed.

What brand is your transmitter?

I have the alarm that came with the car, that Mitsubishi installed for me. Didn't even ask for it... but basically it does nothing other than set the alarm off if i open the doors through the window, or open it in any manner from the inside if i lock the doors. It beeps when i lock it and unlock it. I also have to close the hood, all 4 doors and the trunk in order to disable the alarm when it goes off after disconnecting the battery.

EDIT:
I have this little toggle button by my clutch on the interior panel. Its grounded and i have no clue what it does.. anyone have any idea? I think its for my alarm system because it wasn't there before they hooked it up.

That's pretty much what mine does. I will check for that toggle button you're talking about.

Also, on the transmitter question, my thing says OMRON G8D-525-A.

I tried the method to silence the horn that was posted earlier with no luck.
