new subs (stock head unit)
I searched back all the way to the beginning but havent found anything. im taking my subs, box, and amp from my old car and putting it in my ralliart when it comes. im going to leave the stock head unit in because theres no need to buy a new one. im guessing i cant run av cables so what do i do about that and the remote shut off. i even searched on the other mitsubishi forum but nothing comes up...sometimes i think these cars are just too rare

get this to convert your speaker outputs to rca, just connect to your rear speakers in your trunk easy to do:

as far as the remote if you want to run it straight just splice into your cig. lighter...or if you want splice and then find a mounting spot for a switch and cut into that wire and run the rest...

I'don't know anything about how take the audio signal to the amp, but for the remote, I use the antenna amp wire to drive my OEM amp whit an aftermarket headunit!!!

man if you want an auto off then simply run a wire up to the front of the car and using a nonintrusive wire tap (you can pick up at radioshack) hook the wire into either the remote from the ignition found under the steering column or into the cigaret power outlet wire.

You will have to mess around with it once you get everything installed by turnin the sound up to a comfortable level and adjusting it till the sub sounds right to you...you could just get one that is pre-set...I have one it is not adjustable but it sounds great to me...
