ROAD/RACE- RA Piggyback Sale -$399
I dont get it because some people say that 93 is better on mpg and gives u more power, can someone clear this is up, on RRM is states that "Requires use of 87 or better octane fuel only.It is also proven to INCREASE GAS MILEAGE"<--- straight from the site
This is what I have heard:
Lower octane fuel is more combustible, hence you can potentially draw more power out of a lower octane gasoline. Higher octane gasoline is less combustible, which is why it resists detonation. My understanding is that you will get no better gas mileage by going with 91/93 unless you have actually been tuned for it. You may potentially get more power out of running a lower octane than what is suggested for your tune or by the manufacturer, but you also may be detonating. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, this is only what I have heard and read.
In the case of the RRM piggy, run what they have tuned it for, which is 89 IIRC.

Hey Rock just wondering does Splitsecond R4 work with Vista? I just bought a new laptop and it has vista... I hope it'll work with it...
PS: I saw a Bentley today with the MA plates "RRM" this mornin' on my way to work. The guy even gave me a thumbs up as I rolled by.

R4 works with Vista. As for warranty, it technically can void it but it has never happened once. Plus dealerships buy them so.... depends. Point is, it is easy to remove if you need to get something done at the stealership.ROAD/RACE
