thad be cool if someone could actually trick people to that extent, but the price like all of ya said sucks, plus ya gotta go find some JDM headlights off an evo7, thad raise the price quite a bit, and all the other.....ya know what? as i type i realize something, if someone was willing to pay that much and go to that much effort, odds are that theyre driving an evo8 presently

Chances are that kit would bolt straight up to the chassis... but wait a minute.... what about the headlights? those wont bolt straight up to our chassis. You'd have to have a shop rig something so the lights can fit on properly... that's if you can even get your hands on a set of JDM evo 7 lights for a decent price. If you got money to waste on all this, you might as well get an evo straight out, no headache.

you guys notice how thats a pic of an actual evo 7 in the pic? i wonder if they compensated the rear bumper for our quarter pannels? and why wouldnt the headlights fit? if not youd only have to drill like three holes to mount them. their carbon fiber trunks are pretty expensive, but their mirrors arent too bad.

evo8 headlights will fit BUT you'd have to fabricate your stock radiator support or get an evo7 radiator support to fit the headlights thats alot of headaches and time behind the cutting wheel and welder.
Second is that the evo8 hood will not match up to the evo7 bumper. the lines at the grill area will not match the bumper since the evo8 grill is not as wide as the evo7's.
Third, if thats a replica of the JDM Evo7 rear bumper than you'll need to get the fender flares for the rear to match the wider rear bumper along with the wide factory evo7/8 rear passenger doors since the rear flares mold into the rear doors or you can get custom flares put on in the rear.
IMO this would be a waste of money unless you know how to do the work yourself and alot of time to work in your garage then by all means it would be cool to see a full evo conversion but good luck with that.

our radiator supports angle down towards the grill area its hard to notice but that half inch of an angle is a big deal trying to fit headlights that are practically straight. you'd have to cut the radiator support and drill new holes if there is enough room but by cutting the radiator support you lose the strength of the car in that area it'll crumple like paper if you were to hit something dead on at 5mph.
pushing the radiator support upwards to allow the headlights to fit wont work. The radiator support/core support will pull everything upwards you're hood latch, radiator and mounting points for them. The best way to do the conversion is to get the actual radiator support from an evo7 and have that welded on to replace the current one but even then that will cause a problem since you will be using the lancers radiator you'll need to fabricate new mounts for them along with the other misc. things attached to that support.

if I lived in the US I'd probably just spend the extra couple of grand to get an Evo, but if I lived in a country that doesn't allow Evos (**cough cough** Canada), then I'd probably considering doing something like this
