They are Zinc coated, which is an anti rust coating. It will help protect the outer edge and center hub, but as soon as you start braking the coating will not longer be on the main section of the rotor. I'm getting these in the spring

I have the Brembo slotted rotors. They work great with the Axxis pads that I got for them. They are worth the every cent that I paid for them.

ES owners could just buy them and have a machine shop redrill them for the 4X100 lug pattern. Shouldn't cost more than $20 or so.

For some reason I remember the OZ and LS rotors being different widths or something. I may be wrong, but I remember there being something slightly different besides the lug pattern.

That's a good idea as long as the hub diameter is the same, the overall diameter of the rotor is the same, and the rotor thickness is the same. Also you take them to a good machine shop.

In that respect they will help shorten your stopping distance.

thanks for the info. thats actually what i meant to say. i want something to perform better overall. not so much stop on a dime. but yeah...... thanks

only problem: should i have pressed the caliper cylinder back? then pump the brakes, cuz what i did was just slid the old rotor out and slid the new one in. when i started driving it around i made sure not to slam on the brakes at all as to not glaze them. so ive been taking it easy. already got 20 miles on them so its ok, but when i slow down it shakes a bit.
