fog lights

Have a question. When you take apart the headlight housing to paint them i was curious you said you could pop out the turn signal lens. could you possibly put fog lights in place of the turn signals please let me know if anyone has done this otherwise im gonna try it tonight and ill let everyone know how it goes and ill take some pics.

hell yea you can probably put them in there. its a big oval chamber, just as big as one of those foglights. only problem i see is insulating after you take out the stock signal light, cuz the whole is big, and replacing it with just a wire.

thats a damn good idea though man, kudos to you.

Not all taht hard actually. Just gotta me a backing plate that will hold the light, then screw that backing plate to the housing and voilà

The only part I'm worried about is how will people know you're turning. The side markers are blinking, but they're not all that visible

well i thought about that get new light harness and drill into the parking light or tap into the parking lite socket and run the blinker wire into that. and that will act as your turn signal and parking lamp. both i would think would work

well ive been riding around with my turn signals (in front) out of commission for 5 monthes now and ive been fine without them, mind you it was not intentional. i dont know what made it happen but they went out when i painted the headlights black.
