k, one more question...kus ive juss been thinking about it.... is that paint blue?? and does it mask over the black on the gauge part?? or is it still black? kus if the numbers are blue all the time no i imagine the black isnt black anymore??

Would those look good on the oz guages since they have the white background.

 

Unless you intend to mask off everything except for the numbers, your whole gauge cluster will be blue. Prolly not a good idea IMO. It's not so bad with the black cluster cuz it hides the blue pretty well, from what I can see.

 

you could do it if you were able to take off the damn needles. you may even be able to just change your bulbs on the oz

 

i don't know why everyone wants to change their OZ gauges....they are ****in nice IMO....white face with real red light, people pay money to SWITCH to those gauges. but i do think that those blue ES gauges look mad nice, props. i just have to get around to changing the color of my A/C controls and stereo to red so it all matches, which is a mistake on mitsu's part if you ask me. check out an IS300 interior if you get a chance, it's real nice, if it were red like the OZ gauges (or an audi) instead of the amber, it would be perfect.

 

i love the oz gauges but abolutley hate the red lights. this is just until they come out with white faced rev. indiglo gauges for the lancer.

 

Link286XT showed me how 2 do mine... Cept I have my ES gauges and A/C lights in RED... I just thought it looked meaner.

you can order bulbs from your mitsu dealer. I don't have the part number because the guy knew what I was talking about and I they haven't come in yet for me to have an invoice. Ask for the bulbs that light the speedo. They're $3 each and you need to specify OZ/LS for the red.
