This question might have already been asked before, and i have looked around the fourms and found one related to it but it didnt answer my question completely.

does the 02 lancer share the same body as the evo 8?
if it doesnt, do u know what is the difference?

the reason is that if i were to buy evo 8 hood and front bumper it should fit fine, right?

 

the only part of the frame that is similar on the 2 cars is the cab...you won't be able to put the hood and front bumper from and Evo 8 on Lancer...you'd need to get the fenders, wheelwells, hood bracket/hinge, rad support and headlights plus do some metal fabrication work to make it all fit together

 

the body is almost completely different, the chasis suspension frame, radiator support..all ofi it go to body-kit.com to mod ur body

 

I think the evo 8 and the 04+ lancers have a more similar body than the 02-03 lancers.

 

you'll actually have more of a problem with the 04's cause the front end is even shorter
