not really.... in the U.S. most USDM tuners who are doing JDM styles prefer amber lenses. In Japan they prefer the USDM look! Funny I think. Kinda like the Evo's come with altezzas and they want to get rid of them, and the regular lancers come with normal tails and they want altezzas....

i wanted my cedia lights amber because...they are not DOT approved so if they had amber cops wouldnt really know...since it looks stock

 

I see a red X instead of some sidemarkers, so I have to ask this question. Are these really amber sidemarkers or are they the lamp housings that are in the bumper?

I'm assuming they are really sidemarkers, because the USDM Lancer comes with amber bumper lamps from the factory, right?

If that is the case, can you tell me where you got them?

 

They are real amber sidemarkers not the reflectors on the front bumper cover. I got an email address from a JDMU member that I know who has delt with him before. When they come in I will post the email if anyone wants them, but until then Im gonna keep that under wraps.

 

i'm gonna give it a chance and say it could look pretty tight.

 

They a direct fit? They look a bit different shape than ours. I'm just wanting something that looks OEM, but amber. I hate clear side markers and chrome tail lights and stuff. That's why I switched to the MR tail lamps, and as soon as the MR headlamps get here, those are going on as well. It's just a personal preference of mine. I'm not bashing anyone out there.

 

i really dont like amber so i dont think it would look good, but seems like you care a lot about being different so whatever

i posted a pic in the first post. They are just not installed yet, i havn't recieved them yet.

 

I've thought about doing amber too but then I realized that on a yellow car that would be nasty, haha. Black, White, Thunder Gray, maybe blue..those colors work but not yellow.
