finally after about 2 months i swiped my dads camra and took some pics let me know what you think

 

Grill looks nice! Did you sand it and paint it?

 

yeah i sanded it and painted it with the same paint as my head lights it was dupi color low gloss black it was 500 degree paint i just had some left over.

very nice grill. mine used to be black... im on my 3rd stock grille now, i have 2 chrome and one f'd up black one... ( god damn jeep! )

 

looks good! i'm thinking about doing this to mine. my only problem is my lancer is black and i'm gonna be **** about it matching the paint....i'll probably have to get another stock one.

Not much of a gloss black is it? Sorry, I can't tell because of the rain on it. Have you ever tried leaving the Mitsu emblem chrome or paint matching it to the body? I painted mine gloss black on my Silver 03 and left the emblem chrome. I think it looks much better than having the whole thing black. Maybe something you could try out and see how it looks.

foune this other pic. im in the process of trying to get some money to gether to get a cf evo7 grill i have a evo8 wing onthe way for the mitsu dealer in my town so ill have pics of that in a couple of weeks go a gerat deal on it couldent pass it up

 

I'd get a Lancer OZ wing, but that's just me.

 

for a stock lancer........it looks good (nice debadging too!)

 

Good advise on modding a ES cause I wish I would have bought the yellow OZ over my white ES but then I dont like yellow. Good luck with your car and that grill looks nice black
