I was thinking of getting these hood pins and noticed a disclaimer on the site:

"Please check your local laws and regulations concerning product offered. These are for off road or show purposes only. Implicit Autosports assumes no liability for intentional misuse, damages due to improper installation, or disregard for the law pertaining to the equipment offered here."

Does this mean these are illegal or what?

 

show or off road means illegal but i dont think cops will notice or even know it is illegal

 

dont know of any specific laws on that... but Im sure they are just saying that to cover any liabilities... In case some was to happen to your car with those, they are not liable... And same with getting a ticket or citation related to it, again not liable... Just sounds like they are covering there A$$ on this... dont see why they would be illegal... If your car needs to be inspected, contact an inspecting station, and they should be able to let you know the legality of them...

I also noticed that some say "lanyards not included". Does that mean I would have to buy them also?

yeah those will go really nice. good find.

 

I like the key ones, keep prying eyes out from the hood........might grab 2 sets of those for my lancer and my project car.

 

I agree with OZLancerlunitic, the keys are a good idea, never seen them before
