on the side..... it looks like ... reg gauges ive seen.. they have red lighs glow ing and white backround with black surround... and chrome ring around my rpm gauge.... lemme c if i can take a pic...
It's the standard OZ cluster, no doubt...but it looks like the previous owner had a ring installed....don't know why, looks kinda crappy to me.
Good find for 20 bucks tho, no doubt. Open the cluster and take out the ring. Also, did you have your milage notorized? The ODO is stored in the cluster. If you change them without official state documentation, you're in trouble when you try to sell the car.

sorry for not explaining that chrome ring thingy... he-he... the reddish/ orange lights are original mitsu, just like any other OZ but the chrome ring is my little add-on, its not permanent- could be easily removed. Since there are no after market chrome rings for the OZ guage, I was doing it piece by piece as I found a match, however, I only got that one done before I traded my car. That chrome ring is from an asian spec Lancer, the chrome rings for the Miata fit on the smalller guages( temp. ,fule etc), havent found one that fits that fits the speedo thought I think its the same as the Tach, after the chrome rings ,I was going to add the silver gauge surround just like the Evo...
