I had this wing sitting in a box for 3 months, and I wanted to make my final decision on getting it put on. So I took the original off and set the EVO spoiler on the trunk(no, its not screwed in), and I think Im gonna go for it!. Also I am going to have the lock shaved off and filled and the hole in the middle/top filled. If anyone has some opinions, POST UP!. What are your thoughts? You think it will look nice? Or you think i should keep the OZ spoiler on there? What do you think about shaving off the trunk lock?

Go to the dealership and get the Spoiler Gasket. They are like 8 bucks and worth it, will keep out the water....

I got it on mine and I think it looks great!

 

I have all the gaskets and mounting hardware. Its not painted yet, I have to take it to the body shop on Monday. Body shop is going to take care of the lock on the back (someone broke in and completely F'd it up). Im going to have it shaved off, only way to pop it is the alarm, or inside the car.

 

If I had that spoiler I would have had it installed 3 months ago. So yeah do it, looks good.

Dropping the car off tomorow morning, should have it back by thursday! Cant wait.. Evo 7 wing, shaved trunk lock... gonna suck not having a car for 4 days though lol
