any ideas on what i could use to hold the chrome housing to the lens or whatever that won't melt?

probably some high temp silicone. if you black out the housing, you can use black silicone and it shouldn't show too bad.

where could i get some of this high temp silicone you speak of? Never knew there was high temp sili. Hmm, i'm acctually painting the housing black (the nxt step is to sand the hell out of the housing, and paint them black.

im running into the same issue trying to get the stock reflector and the projector bowl to stay together, you have to use bolts otherwise the constant shaking on the road will get to the lights and they can possibly fall out inside the housing which is not good haha. I will post some pics of how I am doing it tomorrow or so because of the 4th, I am going to be too busy blowing stuff up haha.

man those really do look good for it being a diy job. i give you props .i remember when this first started i was like this isnt going to work out all that great but you pulled it of so far it looks like smooth sailing from here . i may try this with some 3rd gen teg projecters that i have that i was going to put into my 2nd gen rx7 now i may have to put them in the wifes lancer

thanks bro. smooth sailing, if (a) i can sand it down correctly and smooth out the edges and (b) silicone it REALLY WELL w/ some super high temp. =P

when i finish them, my plans are to sell them, cause i won't be doing the custom wire job - so i will sell them to whoever wants em' pretty much. I'm pretty much working on these for personal pleasure (knowing i CAN DO something extremely CUSTOM).
