the hell?? the grille fits FINE with the Vis Hood. it DOESn'T fit fine with the front bumper. Where did the hood come into the conversation?

the ingenious logic continues

Why dont YOU get the facts straight kid.... See this is rigo's car with the ACCOLADE front bumper, you can see the SAME gap as with the RRM CF Bumper:

And as you can see this is his car with the CF grill and a stock hood, no gap at all...

So it is conclusive that the CF HOOD that is causing the grill's lower portion to bow the way it does. RRM's kit fitment is as good as it gets.

Carbontrix MAKES that CF grill u see... it's the ****ty VIS hood that is causing the grill to be squeezed in and thus bow upward. RRM's (carbontrix's) stuff fits perfectly fine.

I am not a fan of cf bumpers unless it's all over the car, but nice stuff and look good Rigo.

IMO, paint it to match

As you can see from my pic below my full cf front fits perfect. Carbontrix did a great job on the bumper and hood fitment. Its a 100% perfect fit, no gaps whatsoever. Its hard to get every cf piece to be perfect and its even harder to keep it looking clean when driving with it. So far the evo parts from carbontrix are excellent.

geesh, you lancer guys are fiesty. I'll admit, i confused exactly which part was the crappy one. I haven't really bothered learning about the lancer stuff.

I can vouch for Sam (gofaster87's) stuff. I was a bit skeptical about it jsut seeing it in pictures, but the quality is top notch

Thank You... yes we are fiesty... and PROUD ... but Vis stuff is actually the part to blame. otherwise, stock hood with a cf grill would have worked fine. but the vis hood with a cf grill doesn't fit well to begin with... i'll get pictures of my kit on tuesday for shure. and have it posted.
