I need an opinion on the accolade apex 2 kit. im thinking of purchasing it for my pheonix red 03. I was also curious about how much a body kit costs to paint for a nice 2-3 coat paint job....not counting install and sanding..i can do that part. thx.

 

should be around 1000 to paint the kit

 

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you have to remove both the front and rear crash bars to make the kit fit. Check on that first.

 

well i dont want a kit that sacrifices w/e the lancer has to keep me safe....so does any1 know for sure if the apex 2 requires removal of crash bars and if so any kits that dont.

 

apex 2 is the ugliest kit out there anyways...

 

what kits do u prefer....i havnt found awsome head on pictures of it so im still lookin round. I also like the new apex 3 and that evo VIII conversion.

 

i have just a apex2 rear bumper looks good to me! but i have kenstayle front and sides! the evo 8 convs. is real nice!!!! get what you like! no matter what other people think!

 

apex two bumper, kaminari or ken side skirts and apez 3 front bumper is perfect.

 

I have this kit You have to remove the rear bar the front stays on but get ready to do a lot of work on this kit.

he means that fitment or the apex 2 kit has had some issues. search around and you should find some stories. Anyway, they are supposedly coming out with a apex 3 kit that is us spec. If that is true, you might want to look into that. just my .02

 

I've had my eye on the ApexII kit for some time too. The only thing I don't like is the rear bumper, but I do want JDM. When it comes to getting a kit, I might see if I can just get JDM ken style rear bumper. But I like the front bumper of the Apex more than ken. Plus, EVERYONE gets Ken, someone has to be different around here :P

 

I agree someone needs to be different. Ive had my lancer for a bit now and all ive done is tyx tails and fogs..im looking for a kit... But i dont wanna be like evry1 else..I saw that new apex 3 and is real nice. I started a thread about it and found out it is us spec...so ill probably get that.
