splitter should be shaped so it looks like it follows the contours of your bumper. why paint it black? should have just gotten a cf hood if you wanted a contrast.

what mike said. i mean what in feezing.. i see lil hondas with primered or black hoods running around all the time.. i just think lancers should steer clear and have some class, by spening some of ur infinate cash flow on a nice shiney cf hood.. and yes mike the splitter should follow the contour of the body.

army685, tyte car...certain suggestions...i love the cf splitter, i would round it out as pgmike said. with the hood, if u like it keep it, if u wanna do something different so u dont get slack, i would do what kontradiction did to his car, color match ur hood w/ ur car but leave a lil bit of black, i like that, gives a lil bit of flavor...kontradictions was carbon fiber though, but u could do something w/o the CF. Also, if u know someone who does airbrushing, get something on ur hood that looks pimped or something to that extent...i dunno there jus rough ideas i thought of....regardless its pure hottness...keep it up, ur on the right track

Looks alright, I agree that the splitter would be better fitted to the body, and the hood screams "redneck poser". While I generally don't like the whole carbon fiber hood on a 120 hp car, I'd say just spend some of your cash and get a nice one, like a carbontrix, VIS, etc. hood, maybe even vented if judging by the wing your going for that whole "making a cheap mans evo" thing.

some of you say some of the most stupid ****! but you didnt listen to me i didnt paint it black cause i cant afford a carbon fiber hood i painted it because i wanted it black and its what i wanted for my car! and yes i do have a good job and i can afford to make my car even nicer than it already is but i have other things to do like pay bills and hook up my wifes car! ect ect. ! some of you youngsters dont realize that because you dont know the value of a dollar! even though i am young myself only at 23 i am very sucessful for my age! in my opinion! but everyone else thank you for your comments and suggestions! and everyone keep up the good work!

im sorry it just doesnt make sense at all..

Carbon Fiber = Lighter, Really close to black in color
Black Pant = Lots of time and effort to have a similar look of cf and have a heavier hood.
paint material = instead of spending money on that, could use it on a cf hood

Im 21 and successful as well, i definetly know the value of the dollar, i dont understand how that correlates to what me and the person above said. It sounds to me as if YOU dont know the value of a dollar.. im trying to justify why you went out of your way for something like that, and wasting money.

its not a waste of money because i got all the work done for $360! because i needed my front bumper repaired, and repainted, my hood painted black, and my splitter put on! which is a great price and i do not want a carbon fiber hood i wanted it black anyway! because i like it that way!
