that's what i'm going to do when my head isn't pounding oc. lol

the to-do list for this weekend involves:
1. drilling new mounting holes
2. buying clamps to hold items flush for aforementioned project
3. buying bolts to hold said seats to said brackets
4. napping, excessively

My brackets didn't line up either. I just welded the brackets to the seats...... poof, problem fixed.

i did 2 hour long drives yesterday. they feel pretty comfortable, a little better than i was expecting actually. the only issue i've come across so far is that my blindspots have moved slightly because the seats are lower. just something that is going to take a little getting used to.

would normal seatbelts clear them then? I heard the 4 points are sort of dangerous.

don't you need a harness bar for it to be installed properly?

If I'm not mistaken the Harness bar is the best possible option. If you don't have bars you gotta make sure your anchor point are the best possible. If you've got crappy anchor point, your harness can simply detach from the anchor location upon impact.

i will be the first to admit that my current seatbelt situation is not optimal. i now understand all of the discussion about 4 point harnesses riding up...

i'm contemplating trying to find stock"ish" replacements, with a receptacle that can be bolted in. that's the only reason i went with the 4 points for now is i had no where to hook the stock belt.

maybe something like this? ...
