The owner of the car did Say that he was planning on doing a 4G63 swap and I warned him about the dangers of it (financial dangers that is) and he said he was also looking into a turbo kit for the car and said he found one on tubokits.com and that he never knew about these forums, rrm, rpw or anything like that. I think he said he got a lot of his stuff off of ebay. Looks good, the front bumper is molded on, and the header i think said Kamikaze on the side (I can't remember, sorry). He said he'll check out the forums and everything and see what's up on this side. Hopefully he will check it out. He has a great start and I'd like to see him around here keeping us updated.

It must take a lot of research to find wheels that ugly. Don't like the tails either. Otherwise nice car.

 

Some of you guys need to loosen up and take the rice stick out of your *ss. I am so tired of hearing F&F remarks, grow up. The car looks fine. The rims are alright and may not be to everyones liking but oh well! That is what makes the world go around.
Atleast he doesn't have the same Volks or Gram lights I see on almost every damn Evo, how original. Most of them look almost identical and have no originality.
What is it with everyone wanting their cars to look so bland? Call me Match-light, and flame on. Just be a little less harsh on people who spend a lot of time hooking their cars up even though you may not agree. KARMA dudes, and believe me it will come back around.

I am still really curious about his air ride setup. Looks like some sort of retro fitted bags in the bag, tough to tell from his pics but its clear it doesnt drop as low as mine if he has it dropped all the way which it looks like he does.


As far as the interior goes, typical show car interior, 2 tone on everything. I like it though.

 

If he had some volks or gram lights, that would be amazing. I havent seen one lancer non-evo rollin in those. The only thing I dont like about the car, is it has ALOT of unpractical mods. Alot of guys that go for the "clean, simple and practical look" will think this car is Rice.

personally i like it, but if it were mine i would prolly changed a few things and add a few things, cough::turbo::cough. which hey, we dont know the guy, maybe he's shopping for different rims or loves the ones he has, and maybe hes saving up for a turbo kit.

now all we gotta do is find out who it is, I KNOW HE WAS IN HAZLETON, PA about 6 weeks ago, i remember getting remarks to my car from it and ppl were telling me about it and i saw it parked in front of cingular wireless/ne light and sound.

 

I don't see the big deal in saying a car is reminiscent of "fast and the furious" as lets face it, that movie is a huge media icon and many people actually enjoy having cars that look like those in the movies. The same is true of rice, it is a representation of a style or concept that some people (including me) do not agree with. Now then, this does not make us immature, it simply means we do not agree with what they have done to their car, we would not do the same to our cars. We are not "bashing" the car, or the owner, we are simply expressing our opinion. Personally I like volks and gram lights because they are subtle and functional, but obviously this is not for everyone. People just need to learn to respect both sides of the coin, the fans and the critics.
