^get it from RRM, saves time and "other" things. you attach the hood to the 2 mounts lke ur hood is now and IF you get hood pins, you will not blow a hole in the CF if you do it right, just use small bored drills and work your way up and simple stuff like put tape over the top to mock up where your rivits will go and to line it all up so you can write on your hood. Its super easy as i have learned actually...

IF a company is going to sell a hood that comes with a latch, obviously it is there for a reason, and that is for it to work. IF the company wanted you to use hood pins, not only should they tell you, have it on their site, and on the hood instructions/carton, BUT not include a latch on the hood! this being that i will assume they are not needed and the latch works fine as it comes with it. All of this is ESPECIALLY true if it was installed by qualified professionals (which it was) and was not modified in any way! sooo, bam problem solved. no need for hood pins with my new hood b/c of this and if it DOES break off and slam my windshield causing me to potentially die, i would then proceed to sue my **** off and win lots of money for selling faulty items.
TSIU- its like selling a gun without a safety, you don't put a mock up of one, YOU PUT A SAFETY ON IT and if it isn't supposed to have one for whatever reason, YOU DON'T PUT ON A FAKE ONE, you leave it completely off so you don't think ur safe then WHAM! so i feel justified.
well good luck and may God be with you. rest assured the latch WILL break and depending on how fast you're going something terrible might happen. it dosent matter what company it is.... AFTERMARKET hoods (fiberglass/cf) are for off road use, show purposes only (which i'm sure accolade states somewhere, so good luck with the lawsuit). if your going to use the car as a daily driver the company's "STRONGLY RECOMMEND HOOD PINS". that statement is wrong. they should say "INSTALL HOOD PINS/HOOD PINS REQUIRED". i know several people with accolade hoods and other aftermarket fiberglass/cf hoods that have had their hoods fly up and smash their windsheilds/roofs of their cars. some on local highways, some just cruising at 35mph. if you want to run the risk. well.... its your life. definately not worth it though. if your so worried about install, find a bodyshop that will do it for you.

Yes attact pins to frame

as for drilling, u mis-read it. The PFRP hoods have 2 layers, i drilled the bottom on first to align the hole with the pin, then i did the top... just be careful, take ur time, and use different size bits, start small, and work ur way to the size u need.

As to anyone with an aftermarket/light weight hood, regaurdless of who it is from, I WOULD SUGGEST A SET OF HOOD PINS. If if the LATCH is strong enough to withstand the force, it still may not be attached to the hood in a correct mannor and could detach itself from the carbon or material of which hood is made of. While it does look good to have no hood pins on flawless carbon fiber. but once again, in the end its ur choice and ur car.
