I did have ABS around the shroud at first, it melted.....

Aluminum tape worked for a while but produced some glare from inside the projector, need to use something not as reflective.

well, I just bought a HID kit using H1 bulbs with thehopes of installing the kit in some new housings a.k.a cedias. Unfortunately sounds like you guys are using the stock headlights. Anyway to retrofit an H1 bulb holder for the stockers if I can't find some cedias?

when you do a retro you don't use the stock bulb holders. generally you want to use DS1 bulbs which are what OEM bulbs and projecotrs are/use. You can get projectors that use H1 but they will not be OEM projectors, thus you will not have an OEM style cut off line.

I wished I lived in Washington or in Socal to help either one of you. I'd really like to try this out and patent it, hehe. Maybe I can try this out on my own, but I don't really like the idea of hacking into my CEDIAS, ouch. Another reason is it's gonna suck not having headlights on my car for that time period.

I would say buy an extra pair to work with just in case. If you have any questions I know I will be willing to help you as much as possible. I am sure lookslikeanevo will do the same. One reccomendation i can give you know is learn to work with JB weld, I used gobs of this stuff and if you do screw up, all you have to do is fill in the hole or join the crack, let it cure, sand it down a bit, and then paint and tada its fixed.

I would consider a set if you could keep the price around $500-$600. That's good deal considering the cost involved of headlights, hid kits, and any other materials included. The headlights from cerious performance were said to be around $1300 shipped to your door and they are not hid. Would this be plug and play or hard wire? Also I would want mine in stock housings, not crazy about the Cedia black housings.

is this still being done?
My left headlight is getting condensation bad and I need to fix it somehow. Anyways, the projector idea I really want to do because I want to put HIDs in my car w/o the glare. Hopefully Rigo you can do it or I might have to see how much HIDretro.com charges.

If they can make it like this, this would be bad ***!
