the "show" guys are lucky im not a judge at a show i guess, a show to me would be nice and clean... sorry a curvy rear bumper with a crooked plate, and ebay altezzas, with a splitter that looks like a table isnt my cup o tea.

if u like it thats fine but dont get upset at people for criticing ur car..

if it were mine... splitter would be pushed back about 2 inches and the stock lights would be back on or maybe the cherry reds... and id replace the back bumper with a shorty evo or ken style bumper... in anycase i guess its ur car. so, whatever floats the boat.

K people, if you're gonna be a smartass, get the definitions right. Lancelot is not being ignorant, he is well aware of what you did to your car, he simply thinks it was stupid. In this instance he is being an ***, which has nothing to do with education or knowledge levels. Having a negative view about something does not make you ignorant at all, you're sounding like Michael Jackson "don't be ignorant, you're so ignorant". If you post pics of your car, you have to accept some people will think it sucks. I'm sure some people think my car sucks since it lacks a wing, ground scraping ground effects, subs, huge 18" rims, etc. but frankly, those people can eat my *** out with a spoon.

This is why you don't always see the same cars taking every trophy at every show. Even at NCCA events, where the judging is as standardized as it gets, the judges are all different in their opinions and it can effect how you do. Even though the judges are trained to look for specific things, they all have opinions on what they feel is functional on a car, as well as what is stylish or corny. Most aspects of a car are judged on a number scale 1 being the lowest and 20 being the highest. Lets just say for this example that my car has a widebody kit. Judge A might score me an 18 because he thinks the widebody is stylish and done right. Then Judge B could come along and score me a 10 because he's into the JDM style and feels a widebody serves no purpose. The point to this is that even in a standardized and supposedly unbiased environment, opinions still play a role. This is why so many people that go to NCCA shows don't care about winning or losing. They mod their car how they want to, not how the NCCA judging rulebook tells you to. Then if you win, you win, if not, no big deal since every judge's opinion is different. Same rule applies here. Army likes his tails, and his splitter the way it is. Wrong or right, corny or stylish, ugly or perfect, the beauty of the tuner scene is that you can do what you want. Army can do what he wants, and sirlancelot can hate on it if he wants. In the end, what separates the men from the boys is how you handle the comments you make, or the criticizm you get.
