Question About Walker Body Kit

I have a 02' Lancer and I was concidering buying this kit, I was wondering if this kit is going to be a fairly easy install (meaning no modifications to my car). I have a few other questions as well, 1) How much would it be to get a professional install (I live in Arizona), and 2) What makes a kit "high quality" because ebay has some very big price differences in there kits.

Comments and Suggestions are fine.

Unless you got a good sized intercooler to fill in that square hole in the middle, I'd say no to the Walker and yes to the Blitz or Ken style.

lurker,

there are a lot of kits out there for the lancer.

you may want to check

- body-kit.com
- roadracemotorsports.com
- importtrenz.com

honestly the walker kit is probably the ugliest next to the blitz kit.

ultimately its up to you, if u like it then get it. but im sure the others will be ur choice.

Hey everyone has there own taste in kits, what one guy thinks blows another might think kicks ***, he makes a good point though, what does make one body kit "better" then another not in looks but in material quality and ease of install. Anyone know alot about this stuff?

Well I really only have about "500" dollars to spend on a new kit. E bay has a few selections of kits around this price range.

I do have someone ready to paint the kit, but I just seem to be scared about material quality. I want something cheap, but not bottom end quality.

Thanks a lot guys.

I don't need a hood, I just need front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper...nothing too fancy.

dont even bother getting a kit if you've only got about 500 to spend. A decent kit will cost you about that much just to purchase.....then you've gotta pay shipping....then for paint.....then for install....

in all reality if you really want to do a kit and for it to go without causing major headaches.....set aside about $1500 at least. This way you'll have the cash for any unforseen problems.

And pretty much no kit is easy to install. They all require some fitment and some bodyshop work.

I'd also advise you to stay away from ebay for kits....rumor is that a lot of companies off load their really crappy pieces on ebay (the ones they wont/cant sell under the company name)

Yeah, I'm waiting till I have at least $1000 to even think about buying a kit. That's without the install. Just wait and buy a good kit when you have more money. Cheap kits will be low quality. (i.e. you get what you pay for)
