MY OZ Rally in "Rally Trim"

Here are some pics take on our hour break between stages in the Pine Barrens Rally (TSD Rally). Also some pics of the light bar with a pair of HELLA Rallye FF 1000's mounted to it. The bar is acually designed to be used on a SUV/Truck. But since it uses the existing licence plate holes it worked well so I didn't have to drill extra holes in my bumper. It's held on by 2 8" bolts that go thru the bumper and all the way through the crash bar. I think I've captured the "rally look" I was going for in a tasteful way!

Thanks! Well we didn't finish the rally till about 9-10ish and your out in the middle of nowhere, so having alot of light was very helpful. Turned night into day!

We finished 27th overall out of 58 and 13th in our class. It was our first one, we weren't really tring. The beam is called Free Form. Thanks for the comments!

The newest lamp in the Hella lineup, the Hella FF1000. Similar in size to the popular Rallye1000, the computer designed Free Form Reflector results in more output than any other 55w lamp in its class and a precisely shaped beam pattern that wastes less light. The lens is clear tempered glass and the reflector is cast magnesium. The ABS shell on the back is essentially a dust cover as the base fastens to the magnesium reflector - which provides the structure of the lamp. Once bolted to a horizontal surface, adjustment is by the single knob on the back. Once aimed where you want, tighten the knob with a 6mm hex wrench. This is an ultra-light, high performance auxiliary lamp.

A city light is similar to a day time running light. They are required in Europe's biggest cities where the street lighting is excellent and headlamps are not allowed to be on, even at night. It is a 5watt bulb in the reflector which lights up the reflector, but provides no additional illumination on the road.

Lamp Kits include 2 Lamps, wiring harness, fuse, relay, switch, 2 Black on White Vinyl Stone Shields and mounting hardware.

Here is the link where I got them.....They are on sale! http://www.rallylights.com/hella/ff1000.asp
