My opinion on a blue car is silver rims look the best, or white would look good also. unless you had a lot of black accents to compliment the black wheels.

I agree, Silver looks GREAT on Blue cars
Wow tho, 42 is a High-*** offset...
Yeah theyll fit your car tho, worry more about the Bolt Pattern.
Offsets are more of a generality unless you order something custom with a lower offset, say you have a RWD Sportscar (350 Z, G35, Supra, Etc...) and you want a real deep dish.
Most rims for Tuner cars are between 30 and 40 Offset, but I would lean twards the low 30's to keep the wheels spaced out a bit, and for that nice Lip.

Hey thanks for the comments guys it really helped. I was leaning toward silver also because it just feels like a cleaner look imo..

these really appealed to me.

Enkei rs7s. Ooh speaking of enkei, I heard rumors that their rims bend... is that true?

I dunno about the Enkei thing, but IMHO you should go with either a 5 spoke or just a "thicker" spoke pattern rim, period. They seem to be best on our cars; due not only to carrying good looks themselves, but also cuz they seem to give the car as a whole, an aesthetic upgrade as well.

EG:

Just my opinion tho...

i agree with cityknight on the whole spokes too thin. i have some motegi FF7's on mine and i love how they look. its just got the right amount of space inbetween the spokes. the 6th ones cityknight suggested would look real clean with no rivets or anything and the clean face it has, not to mention the lip is a good size. just how i feel about it

the rims i have in pic are 8spokes but they look and fit the car as well (but need a drop still)
so before u buy hit up the photochop section and post a pic of your car and the rims u want and ask polietly if they would chop them on there for u.

Hmmmm... wow that was kinda what i was trying to steer away from.. I kinda like thinner rims better.. i guess its a preferential matter or something, but Ill look into the thicker rim patterns. And also, for our cars how many spokes are good? I think it looks better with 6+ spokes..

just look at other peoples cars and see what u like...for me not many lancers in my town so i looked at friends with civics, 350s and evo's, and other cars. then find a color u want then a style u like. once u got that think of size 15, 16, 17, 18's...i would stick with 16, or 17's better ride quality than 18's. then just browse the internet for rims that meet your style u want. then as i said before if cant realy visualize them on your car visit the photochop forum and politely ask them to chop the rims on your car or similar car.
