well I have to push on the bottom of it from the inside to close it... Always thought it was just due to my bumper not being put on correctly, and it was hitting that... But this weekend we tried to put it on ThunderOZRacer's this weekend and same thing...

It just sorta hits the top of the latch, not enough to grab it, or it misses it... And was curious if you drilled out the holes for the trunk or hinges (where would I do that)?

do you still have your tension bars in? Thats exactly what was happening to me. Once I took my tension bars out it has worked fine... It really started to **** me off. It did exactly the same thing. nailed the top of the latch...

Well.. if you were gonna move it on the hinges you would have to either reem out your holes in the trunk or make the holes in the hinge longer to be able to slide the trunk down.. then use some lock tight so it doesnt move over time...

But. I think your issue is the tension bars.

the tension bars actually are lifting up on the trunk...................(the bars are allways holding tension up on the trunk)

It started warping my trunk in the middle (bowing it up). the issue started about a month after install. I took the tension bars out and it has settled down and fits even better. Although when im getting in my trunk I have to hold it open... Still gotta figure a way to get it to stay... haha

If you do take em out... You gotta be rough with them and they will snap at you if you arnt careful... The bars are actually twisted...

I used a long, thick flatheaded screwdriver.. Go to one end where it connects to the hinge and you have to twist it off the little bracket. I dont have a pic but take one minute to look at it and you will figure it out.. It helps if you have two people. One to hold the screwdriver with two hands and twist and one to push on the bar. Its on pretty tight on the bracket and when it finally comes off the bracket you need to untwist the bars slowly so they dont snap around and mabey wack you one in the kisser.

(there are two bars).. I first tried just taking on off but then its lifting on one side of the trunk and not the other so it sits uneven.

cool. Hopefully it will fix your problem. post up and give us the verdict. Once you pop them off you might wanna adjust the trunk on the hinges one last time.

looks nice man!! By the way, I recently did a lot of research on the CF companies and seibon is definitely a higher quality and longer lasting than VIS. Really looks good though!!

oh and that was easy as hell... just used a breaker bar... It still could use some tweaking here and there, but I no longer have to go in the trunk to close it... Thanks!!!

man .. watch out when taking those tension bars out. i took one out and the trunk opened slowly half way and then when i took off the second one the trunk just fell hitting my cheek bone pretty hard.
