Wondering how much of a tint i should get for my yellow OZ...
any suggestions???
and if u got pics of yellow OZs with certain %'s....pls share....

dude right on i'm in the same situation....i went to a local tinting place and and for back 3 limo and front 2 35% they said 160 whiich is not bad at all....as for pictures try searching the thread there are lots of topics on tint and might also try search registry too

 

20% trust me

 

5% on back 3, 35% on front two.

 

yellow tint! and get your head lights airbrushed with clear yellow tint! it would look of the HO_K!!!!

 

i' say 20% all around thats what i got, but i got titainium tint (its shiny but not mirrored)

 

I have 20% all the way around, with a windshield banner. I'm not a fan of varying the percentages on the side windows, so unless you're in a state where the cops really suck, I'd stick with one number all the way around...

I have 35% all around and that makes my 2 front windows illegale here in Va but its such a little of a diffrence that the cops dont even notice I have been pulled over many many times due to altered suspension and not having my front license plate on among numerous things and they havnet said a word about my tint either way it doesnt bother me my best friend tints windows and I could just get it changed if they said much but Im about to go with a light yellow tint with a chrome tribal design in it all around so I know I will get pulled ovre all the time for that one. Oh well thats life and he only charges 145 for Lancers so see if you can talk them down or just come over to Va hehe.

 

va sucks with any type of car mods, especially tint, i got pulled over in va for "illegal lights/un-nessisary lights" and he asked about my tint and i just told him it was 30 which is legal in md, and he didn't even pull out his testing stuff.

va is just too conservative.

but i stick to my decision on 20%, on my red oz, its not too dark but yet its not too light

 

This is Lumar Platinum 37% all around. Like 03YellowOZ I am also illegal in my state but it is close enough so the cops dont care. I highly recommend getting slightly reflective tint, smoked is weak and cheap looking, totally reflective is an eyesore. Lumar is lifetime gauranteed too.

is it: the lower the %, the darker the tint??

 

I have 205 all around and titainium tint finish on it. Check my profile for pics of it. You can see that from some sides the tint is not mirrored by at other angles it is. It has a nice metallic sheen reflect to it. very happy with it..

it looks real good....

like i said, yellow is the way to go!
