Unhappy help me here guys

hey, first off i just wanted to say that this site is a life saver. I would never have known about it if it wasnt for this guy in a gray lancer with a millen intake that pulled me over and gave me oyur web address. Thnkyou stranger. For a while the only site I found that had anything for the lancer was millens web site, so this is a big help. Your forums are great and i have read most of them.

here is my problem. i put in the HID bulbs into my 02 lncer. First it melted the original wires so i went out and bought a heavy duty conversion set. This worked fine for about 2 weeks then the wires started to melt again, and the right headlight is very dull. IM not sure what to do about this or if i should go straight to a head light conversion. I have alreayd checked all the fuses and they are fine. I know there is someone aout there that can halp me out.

Just get some HID bulbs that run lower Watts. You shouldn't be going over 85W. I think stock is 65W. If you push too much you could do damage further down than just the lighting wires.

Same thing happened to me. HiD bulbs melted my first pair of fog lights, second pair is lower wattage. Never had an issue with meltdown since!

My Nokya HID bulbs replace 65W bulbs and they are as bright as the 80-100W bulbs!

Never had any problems!
