Do decals look tacky?

he's right, but your car should be an extension of your personality...
in addition to that.. people make fun of you and some dont..
make a statement, you only live here for a short period of time
MAKE SURE THEY HAVE SOMETHING TO REMEMBER YOU!!

Getting back on the decals, I personally don't like any decals but hey if it tickles your pickle go for it!

That was awesome. Okay, back to the decals. I personally don't like them. But if you like those, go for em and don't let anyone else tell you differently. I don't like any decals that aren't either a company name or something my friends would appreciate as being part of my personality. Which is why I had an Injen decals on my small back door windows. Took those off and had a DVS shoe company sticker on my back window bottom right hand side corner. And now I have "the shocker" on my gas door. All in the past 3 months haha. I think the shocker is here to stay though.

I'll have to get some pics of a car that i see everyday... it's very memorable... i swear... but that's cuz of the paint job...
As for decals... I've seen some great looking vinyls, and i've seen some that i wanted to take off the car myself... for the betterment of the world....
It's all in how you do it

I was not to sure about putting Mitsubishi emblems on each side of my wing, but I did and people seem to like it.
Also, I don't think a large decal on the hood of a Lancer would look good. When I think of large decals on hood, I think of Firebirds.

Not a fan at all. I don't know what this obsession is with putting decals on the side of a car, whatever happened to the clean look? Flames and all that can look good on an old school hot rod that can actually go fast and actually fits the whole "LOOK AT HOW LOUD I CAN TALK!!!" mentality, but on an import, no way. Even simple stickers like "greddy" don't look right in my opinion, I don't see the point in advertising the fact that I have potentially illegal parts on my car, its just a beacon for cops. Unless you're sponsored, it both a waste of time and space.
i don't have any on my car but, there really easy totake off...putting them on takes some time...depending on size and location...just make sure your car is really clean where you place the thing Fudge up your paint...
