You don't need to double clutch in a Lancer, or almost every other manual made today. Older cars required double clutching for smoother gear transition. So unless you're truckin a big rig, single clutching is fine.

only time u need to double clutch the lancer is if you are on a slight roll and trying to put it into first... other then that you dont need to, and i wouldnt do it then either just b/c i feel that first is for take off only
