Meh, who needs to put stuff in the trunk? He can put lots of things in his back seat holes...pencils, screwdrivers, cigarettes (individual...not a pack), etc.

Not trying to dog you out bro (ExcessLancer). As an audiophile, I would love to hear your setup. It would be nice to compare it to the more conventional setups I've done and heard. I'm at least intrigued.

On page 1 of this thread, he mentions that they are "heat sealed" holes. I'm gonna venture a guess...soldering gun/iron.

Thank you ...! Yes I did them by hand using a soldering iron! (Took about 2 hours)

YEs they are very neat and heat sealed so there is no tering or fraying of the fabric... Remember that 80% of the foam from the seat is also gutted out...
Then I painted the inside black so you cant see anything when you look up close to the holes! As I said people who hear this system and look inside fully understand the function of those venting holes..

Glad to see you have an open mind ...

I have heard thousands of car sterios and only about 8 of those sounded good to me....LOL So I decided to challenge myself and solve the inherant car sound problems... And my main goal was to build a system that could play ANY TYPE OF MUSIC at volume and sound great doing it inside and outside the car!

I was tired of people with big expensive set up syaing that they only play rap or classical or bass etc...

The factory radio (conected to the factory speakers only) is for everyday driving to work and stuff while listening to morning shows and am radio....
The Clarion DRX9575z (connected to the system) in the lower DIN slot is used when cruising or going to car shows!

when I park I remove the Clarion's face plate so theives look in and see the factory radio only!
