That sucks...
I was pulled over once, but the cop was out of his jurisdiction. He was from a town where all cops are A-Holes.
I told him I was getting a new bumper so I'll fix it then, and he let me go.

Well it isn't exactly a kit. Some guy did it that lives in Japan. He used all evo 8 parts(fenders/front bumper/hood/headlights etc..) I think someone might have already mentioned this, but searched and nothing came up.

Take a look: Lancer Cedia to Evo 8 Conversion

Wow that conversion turned out really good.
I'm going the same route on the rear bumper as he did.

It would really fool a lot of people. Later i'll fool a lot of people also with something like that. Cosmetic or engine. Vice versa. It'll take time, but the lancer is like my toy car. I'll never leave it behind. Even after upgrading to the Evolution.

I've actually seen a VII conversion that was even better. It included the rear quarter panels and tails... It was in an non evo lancer bashing evo thread lol

Wow that 8 conversion looks awesome! I thought it was an 8! the only way to tell really is the rear doors and back fenders don't flare out as much, and tails are a bit diff. but damn, would have had me fooled if you didn't say it was a base lancer!

I can't wait to get my VII kit put on! but painting is is so damn expensive! ill post pics when i get it all done and lookin good!

O i tried test fitting on the hood when i was bored the other night, and it totally didn't fit on right! like the passenger side would go down all the way, but the drivers side was about an inch and 1/2 away from being flush with the fenders. What the hell is going on!? Also, what have some ppl with the VII kits done about the hood latch? cuz if left on there it would stick out past the hood, and if you take it off there is nothing there to keep the hood down, what has been done?!

Thanks Yo!

Hey All, I have come accross another small issue... I have the Greddy Ti-C Catback exhaust system, and it sits mounted too high to be able to fit the rear bumper on.

Has anyone else encountered fitment issues with aftermarket exhaust systems?
