Only Using One Pair Of Lowering Springs?

Hey,
Has anyone ever used of thought about using only front progressive springs to give the car a rally look and keep stock tires. I was thinking of doing that. And maybe later get rims. Butmy car has CF Hood and wing. Its a yellow oz. let me know on what you think.

Whats rally about it? What your are talking is complete nonsense, and will only hamper your suspension.

Nitro i think if you do that , you might get a real uneven flow on your suspention, i mean you can do it and it will be fine, but i hight doubt you will enjoy the ride, you will be able to feel the differnce, it seems the all the CF you have, you have already started toward the street scene. Might be a good idea to go one way or the other, cause you might confuse people like me LMAO. Ohh and For Mobius .... Isnt there i site called club3g full of a bunch of eclipse drivers who just love negitivity?? hmmmm i think Yes

He has a point. My Evo sits high in the front. Put some Tein lowering springs in the front will level the car out. It sits a good 1 inche higher in the front.

For one I do not drive a 3g eclipse. Its is a 2nd gen spyder sharing the same T/C engine as your beloved EVO. I was not being negative just saying that there is not much of a point in doing what he asking. Springs come in sets and are meant to be installed that way....to better your suspension all around I myself believe in doing this there wont be any great improvement and would be a waste of time.

If you agree that the posters idea was not very impractical than what was the pop-shot at me for...you obviously agree with what I was saying.....it is pointless. Oh well enough of this at least maybe we pointed the poster in the right direction.

i had a bad experience with this. i was taking a left turn at an intersection going downhill. while making the turn i hit a bump. since the front seemed to have more traction, my rear had slipped out a bit. i basically powerslided through the turn because of the uneveness of my suspension. you're gonna have to kinda be aware of that if you plan to only replace the fronts.

why not just install an air-suspension and just change the air pressure to heighten/lower that specific corner/area of the car? that seems like a better long term solution than installing one pair of springs on the front ..
