If you pulled up to the line with a basically stock exterior but a totally awesome engine, no one would expect you to fly right by them

either get an intake or exhaust for some added power or just go ahead and get some killer rims

I just got my windows tinted today. For the front windows, driver and passenger, the tinting % is 70% which means it lets 70% light through, so its basically clear. The only reason you'd want that is because it blocks the UV rays that give us cancer :P. I got mine done for $215.50 after tax with a lifetime labor warranty and lifetime warranty on the film. I went with 5% which is the same as limo tint. If you're looking for all the windows then you'll looking at about 300 bucks.

In regards to first mod, I went with rims first but I think that if you're tight on money you should go for the tint .

a good first mod would be a decent stereo. nothing too pricey but something better than stock. my first mod was an alpine deck with 6 1/2" rockfords. didn't even need subs and it sounds terrific. the reason i got a stereo was that stock stereo sucks and it's not nearly as hit-or-miss with getting a good sound as opposed to adding a muffler and hoping it's the sound you want or adding that spoiler and hoping it goes well with your car. just a better all-around mod. but window tinting follows a close second.

if a deck interests you www.crutchfield.com has many options to chose from, plus it comes with a booklet specifically for installing a certain part into your specific car. a+ for them, discounts on a system are nice as well.

Wow first mod well you'll beat me the only mod I have on my evo would be a air freshner lol. All stock baby!. In my opnion I would go for the sleeper look and go a little show with maybe a new grill, eyelids because its not to pricey and more performance parts later. That was my friends first mod on his Oz as well.
