I got the 8000K Kit.

 

i'm in ny and GOT an OZ. 8000k kit in the front. I have no spoiler on my OZ but I do have the 3rd brake light on the top deck in the rear window. came like that stock.

 

Did you do a retrofit with your 8k? And how's the beam cut-off. I was thinking of going 6k or 8k, but a retrofit of the Audi or bimmer. You got anymore pics?

Nice midnight pics by the way. The whole setup looks clean, keep it that way.

 

Yo i seriously suggest saving yourself the aggravation on retrofitting. Just buy a new set and them joints go right in with no issues.

They pretty much come plug and play now. I had to do a wire to wire connection with mine because the harness plug was inverted, but either way its still mad easy to do.

Hmm, i don't think any OZ's have ever come without a wing. That's strange. Maybe the dealer took and LS or something and gave it an OZ makeover? The only difference between the two is the front suspension.

 

Yeah don't waste your time trying to retro-fit something. It cost me 275 and 15 minutes of my time to do mine. And High Beam? Whats a High Beam.. You don't need a high beam with HID's that and the bulb they give you on the Kit I got was a Single Filment. (sp?)

 

stock reflector (crome) housing makes horrible glare with HIDs. so im thinking about to get the cedia headlights (black housing w/ high beam) + 8000k bulbs. i think it'll look much better with HIDs. (smaller low beam housing could make less glare, having independented high beams, blacked out housing=helps to make less reflection to wrong way.)

Yea, I've noticed the same thing. But mine is an OZ, OZ interior and everything. Front suspension is even OZ. I just have no wing. But I do have the 3rd light on the deck.

Guess I"m Unique... ha ha.
