Looks nice man, I like how you put the "Lancer" badges in the lower right. I debadged my Thunder Gray ES and wasn't aware the previous owner had the car resprayed with the badges on, so it looks like a disaster now. Good job though, looks good, even with those steelies.

FlipBoiFlava242: I'm looking into getting some rota torque wheels next, and then maybe a lip kit since i don't want to go all out with a body kit
Chute Boxe: I can't imagine how your trunk looks with those emblems off... But those are actually wheels off of an integra that my friend gave me after he got some wheels. They're definitely just temporary.

Haha, looks like s***. The clearcoat the was applied after it was resprayed is coming off now the the badges are off. So basically there are ghost letters there, and the white ghost lines are actually borders between the old paint and new. I asked two different shops their reccomendations, both said either rebadge or a respray of the trunk. The respray is hundreds of dollars, so **** that. [/hijack]

wow that sucks. i guess rebadging still wouldn't solve the clearcoat peeling problem, and repainting is definitely a dent in the wallet. sorry to hear about that

I might try and buy a paint pen from paintscratch.com and a clear coat pen and just lightly go over the white lines where it's peeling. Couldn't hurt, already looks horrible.

Speaking of dent in the wallet, how far along are you in saving for some wheels? Paint is a dent, but decent wheels are a gaping wound in the wallet.

Looking good so far. I'm just wondering why you didn't put the carpet and stuff back in the trunk. I have the same bars as you and I just cut some holes for them to go in. If it's a matter of saving weight you should take the spare out. But regardless, the car is looking good so far, I might even steal the location of your LANCER lettering.
